Whirling dervish

9'x 7' curved whirring  dervish                                                                                                                        This art work, inspired by the fluid movement and graceful curves of the whirling dervish ,dance by moving their bodies and arms with the combination of music it reflects a spiritual journey. It is formed by sandwiching copper and mica powder between layers of glass that are fused and slumped in a kiln at temperature reaching 1500F. Texturing is a crucial element, followed by the application of enamels .
